Founding Purpose and Composition


The Korean-Japanese Economic & Management Association was established in October 1983 with the aim of contributing to the development of both Korea and Japan through academic research in the fields of economics and business administration. The Association also seeks to promote mutual understanding and strengthen cooperative relations between the two countries.


At present, the Association is composed of approximately 600 members, including scholars and researchers at the doctoral level or higher, specializing in economics and management from both Korea and Japan.
